The Glassworks is set within a Victorian building originally built as a manufacturing factory circa 1870. It is one of the earliest surviving buildings in Nottingham’s Conservation area. It comprises of 27 high specification loft style apartments.

Refurbishment of a Victorian canal wharf building subsequently used for manufacturing and more recently as a community facility.
The project included assessment of the existing floor constructions for the proposed uses together with development of remedial strengthening details to areas that had previously deteriorated. To the rear of the accommodation existing out buildings were demolished to provide amenity space.
