SBK have been appointed by Telford & Wrekin Council to undertake full structural & civil engineering design from feasibility stage through tender. The project included feasibility assessment of the existing Theatre, and onwards design of the new structural extension to house two auditoria.
The structural design incorporates a structural steel frame with a large-span trussed roof system to suit the Auditorium sightlines and technical requirements. The project also includes a smaller Studio Theatre, restaurant, bar, and an enhanced back-of-house area to support future performances.
