SBK Celebrates World Gorilla Day

Whilst we have been introducing our own Pricilla to her new habitat in our new offices, we wanted to take an opportunity to celebrate World Gorilla Day 2024. SBK have sponsored Mutobo through the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to provide funding to their valuable conservation and protection work in the forests of Rwanda, recognising aspects of his personality in our journey.

Mutobo:

“This silverback is large and in charge. Mutobo was named after the river near where he was born, on Oct. 31, 2004, to mother Gutangara in the historic Pablo group. He ventured out on his own as a solitary male in 2017. Then, in 2019, after a week-long interaction, he formed his own group, demonstrating leadership, protection and paternal instincts.”
